GDT: Jackrabbits vs Roos 2pm Swinney Center SLN

The Jackrabbits have had a week to prepare for this last road game of the season. As the season winds down, P Meyer has increased her energy making the plays for the team. She has been a force at the point guard since her arrival. Paige will be one of the top PG to play for the Jackrabbits. The Roos have an athletic team that will play defense and they are averaging 9.1 steals/game. There have been 11 different players start games for the Roos. Contreras and Emani Bennett have started all games and average over 33 minutes/game scoring about 16 each. KC(6-7) has doubled their wins from last season and they are currently the 5 seed for the SLT. The Roos last won over the Jackrabbits Jan. 11, 2009 in KC. The week of rest and planning for the Jackrabbits should keep that streak intact. Go Jacks!!

Confused on D . It helps to know who you're guarding. I know we have great depth, but sometimes we just need to keep our best 5 on the floor together for longer stretches.

yeah that seems largely correct to me. I give KC some credit. they are scrappy and we have let them get a few second chances, but the biggest factor by far seems a total lack of success from outside. have we made a single 3? i missed a few moments but when i have been listening or watching, I dont believe we have made any 3s

seems pretty obvious that this is going to be a strategy going forward. Pack the lane and hope we are missing from outside. we need to deliver good crisp passes to the shooters and shooters need to be ready to catch and shoot in rhythm

it is strange. Maddie M shot a 3 but looked very hesitant and even Timmer appeared to have some hesitation. normally Timmer is full throttle whatever she does

i do not know why this gym would be a tough place to shoot, but I do feel like both of our teams have had some struggles shooting here. it is possible that I have the memory of an old man??
