3-1 Duke comes to Brookings with their only loss to ranked Maryland. The 3 wins are over Radford, Liberty, & Dayton. The defense is averaging 25 turnovers including 34 against Radford. Maryland turned the ball over 20 in that win over Duke. Duke turns the ball over 15/game. They are averaging 16.5 assists/game. 10 players are averaging double digit minutes. The leading scorer & 2nd leading rebounder, freshman Fournier, comes off the bench. Defense may be the trademark for the Duke women as last year saw their opponents scoring below the season average in nearly every game(33 of 34 games). The Jackrabbit defense may have an answer for the Blue Devils on the defensive end and the Jackrabbits may be able to neutralize the length as well. It should be a game matching the noisy crowds of the WNIT that were played in Frost. Go Jacks!!

Going to be a great atmosphere and a tremendous opponent. They stumbled at Maryland but they will be a top team by the end of the year. Going to have to play at a higher level today and take care of the ball. Go Jacks!

She's supposedly got a very long reach, that seems to help her being able to dunk they say.

Duke’s athleticism is unreal. We are going to have to be quicker on defense and box out better to win this.

they really crash the boards for Offensive boards, they really work hard for them, with their height it's just easy put backs for them , and gets their 3 pt shooting going.

Yeah not sure if AJ is trying to save minutes but pulling our staring guards led to the run at the end of the half. Still in it.

we are an easy mark for their trapping ,we just stop with no one to pass to and they're so quick setting the trap for TO or steal, hope we can deal with that better the 2nd half. Win or lose, this is great to learn what the 2nd level is all about. Lets close some ground the 2nd half , we can't let them win every quarter obviously.

I'm glad we're taking shots instead of losing the possession now, we are a good shooting team, we have to use that more, taking the right shots naturally.
