3-1 Duke comes to Brookings with their only loss to ranked Maryland. The 3 wins are over Radford, Liberty, & Dayton. The defense is averaging 25 turnovers including 34 against Radford. Maryland turned the ball over 20 in that win over Duke. Duke turns the ball over 15/game. They are averaging 16.5 assists/game. 10 players are averaging double digit minutes. The leading scorer & 2nd leading rebounder, freshman Fournier, comes off the bench. Defense may be the trademark for the Duke women as last year saw their opponents scoring below the season average in nearly every game(33 of 34 games). The Jackrabbit defense may have an answer for the Blue Devils on the defensive end and the Jackrabbits may be able to neutralize the length as well. It should be a game matching the noisy crowds of the WNIT that were played in Frost. Go Jacks!!
