Great game for Timmie and nothing wrong with a little test like that out of the gate. I'm excited as we can get an offensive explosion out of at least 9 players, that is great to have!

I understand the point you are making but I would say you are slightly off

in the first 9 minutes of the 3rd Q we scored 10 points
in the last minute and change we scored 5
and in the 4th we outscored them 26-11

we did appear to be in a bad funk and kinda dead in our tracks for almost 3 quarters

had a much better rhythm and flow in the final 11 or 12 minutes

i very much hope that Maddie M is not going to sit back and be content to let everyone else do the scoring. she scored nearly 11 a game last year and she needs to be at least a serious threat. I do think this will be one of the challenges for this team

last year we needed scoring from Maddie and Mady and Mesa and Ellie
are they supposed to sit back now and leave the scoring to others? I have zero, meaning ZERO, doubt AJ will have it all figured out!!! but I dont think we should be surprised if it takes a bit to figure out roles

The return of Timmer and Theisen , and AJ's obvious confidence in Vasecka down the stretch means that those players you mentioned likely aren't going to get the minutes that they got last season. That's unfortunate because they showed last season that they are very capable players. That's the downside, if you can call it that. of having the deep roster that the coaching staff has put together.
