AMEN no reason for the jacks to be intimidated and i have zero worry they will be!! probably also some help from Dru having familiarity with their older players. she will know what to expect from their guards defense wise and be able to help Paige and Timmy prepare also

One positive, if the Jacks advance to the second round, all the other 1 and 2 seeds rank above Virginia Tech in the NET ratings. VT is at 9.

well in all honesty, they could have discounted some of our losses for having key players missing. they see who we have been with Dru and Paige down the stretch. we have played more like a top 25 team, but if they could not elevate us to at least a 7, i sure wish they would have left us at a 10-12

it is what it is now. if we are making it to the final 4 we had to beat a 1 seed at some point probably))!!! at least we wont have to play the BEST 2 seed in the region final

Same thing with USC - they are at 31 and got an 8 seed.

USC hasn't played since March 1 when the lost in opening round of Pac12 tourney to Oregon State. They have been on a long break similar to us.
They did beat WSU twice, lost to UCLA twice, but played Stanford tough twice. Pretty stiff conference and finished 11-7 there.

Tip-off set for 7pm on Friday night which is nice. Looks like ESPN News will be the primary channel. Hopefully it’s not multi-game coverage on that channel or blacked out.

ESPN + may come in handy.
