  • GDT: Golden Eagles vs Jackrabbits 7pm Frost Arena Midco/ESPN+

HC Kelsi Musick will have her first Summit game in Frost. Previously she was HC at SW Oklahoma St U where she took that squad to D2 championship game. Hannah Cooper returns as a guard who is leading ORU in points with 20, assists with 4.8, steals, and minutes played. She is 2nd in rebounds. Tirzah Moore(preseason 1st team) leads with 10.9 rebounds and 2nd in scoring. ORU is 3-8. They did not shy away from competition as they played a stiff schedule that included Arkansas, Oklahoma, Ok State, Texas Tech, Tulsa, & SMU. Currently ORU is experiencing a 21 game losing streak to the Jackrabbits. ORU is preseason #3 in the conference. The Jackrabbits should be close to having Paige Meyer getting some time on the court. A win tonight will give AJ his 550th career victory and the 22nd game in a row for ORU to lose to SDSU. Go Jacks!!
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

Will be great to get her back in the flow…. Even if it’s only for limited minutes.

Girls are shooting like they’re playing outside……ice cold.

Good to see Meyer back. Not good to see our 3 pt shooting still struggle. ORU took a step ahead from last season it appears. Much more athletic and up tempo. They’re not intimidated.

Jack women look disinterested or maybe just sluggish. Not a good look so far. Oral Roberts looks like a team hungry to play

Took literally two minutes on the floor for me to remember how good Meyer is. Difference maker in so many ways.

No doubt she is a big difference on this team, rather than the plodding, throw it around the perimeter team we've seen at times, she makes things happen

Before Paige came in and made one , we were 0-8 for 3's, this is really a lingering problem, thought we'd be doing better by now. Paige really makes the game much more interesting with just her energy alone.

Jack's getting schooled and out hustled on their home court.
will be real interesting to see how they come out in 2nd half. I wouldnt be suprised if some feelings get hurt.

Looked like some feelings were getting hurt earlier during a timeout.

Two observations from the first half : 1- I love watching Paige Meyer play. 2 - There are a couple of veteran starters that are playing nowhere close to the level they have in the past. Not just this game, but season long.

I noticed the Summit teams were awful to start the season, but it seemed to me they all started to improve as the season progressed to where they started beating teams more often. I thought are they better than we thought? They are or they are not, but we have to play the entire season like they are.

Agree, almost look checked out. Very bizarre for it to linger this long
