SDSU is ESPN’s team of the week. Well deserved recognition that is hopefully followed by a ranking later today. There are seasons where we had great teams and still wouldn’t have necessarily won some of these early games against tough opponents.

If we get ranked, someone's got to drop out of top 25, my guess would be Texas, looking at their record, 3 wins against teams not particularly noteworthy say avg, and the only ranked game was a loss was against #12 TAMU, put up a good battle to lose by just 5, but a loss is a loss none the less. Some others in the top 25 might seem a little weak too, but I guess it's up to the pollsters to determine who belongs and who doesn't. I think we do, of course, I think we've earned a little recognition, we have a pretty tough schedule, there should be rewards for teams who schedule tough.

SDSU ranked 22. Gonzaga dropped to 25. Iowa State out of the top 25 but getting votes.

great job by lindsey and Myah. both look to have improved their game this year and i gotta say Tylee looks to have busted her behind working on her game. shots that wouldnt fall for her last year are dropping this year. especially the points in the paint that wouldnt last season. for her size weight wise she has no fear going in and challenging the bigs for shots and rebounds. i think shes better suited coming off the bench and adding that spark on defense and now offense that the team needs sometimes.

Midco is small time, doubt they will grow much and expand with their small time attitude of not covering high profile games with the best competition involving the best squads in the coverage area....they need another broadcast trailer/truck for these situations, just picking out a schedule way before the season and sticking to it regardless is small time broadcasting

Agreed. I can’t imagine what her 4 year stats and accomplishments would’ve been if she’d have been healthy this whole time. She’s special and we are fortunate she’s a Jackrabbit.

I watched Sellend play in HS and she seemed like a College player then....agreed , very special player

They do. They were also broadcasting the hockey bubble in Omaha. Midco is producing all the hockey games (40 games in 3 weeks?). Midco Sports does an excellent job.

I tend to agree. I'd love to see Midco Sports Plus and Jackrabbit Access collaborate to ensure fans can watch every Jacks game (and I'd definitely be willing to pay for it).

Tylee seems to move effortless, graceful as a deer, she has a spring in every step, very athletic, maybe a little taken for granted, not intentionally, just that it's expected of her, that's a compliment to a player I think. Jacks have had a lot of similar players you could have said that about (maybe some current players too?), who are maybe a little under heralded, but who would be sorely missed if they were not on the court.
