    GDT: Gonzaga #18 vs SDSU @ Frost 2pm Video gojacks/watch

    Kelly Graves was a longtime Zag coach, but he last visited Frost as the head Oregon Duck coach. Lisa Fortier was the assistant coach elevated to head coach and she has not allowed the program to take steps back. Their early games were South Carolina and USD in the Bad Boy Mower Tourney. They are the #18 team in the AP Top 25. Gonzaga will have plenty of size and experience with a couple of preseason WCC first team selections leading the way. Gonzaga is a family affair with 2 sister acts on the team and Coach Fortier's husband on the bench as an assistant. The Zags also only have 1 home game prior to conference with 3 more on the road. This is another one of those games in OOC which can keep the Jackrabbit season elevated. Go Jacks!!

    Competitive first half. Jacks had 10 turnovers and inside looks they missed that could’ve opened it up further. Selland already with 3 fouls will make the second half even more difficult.

      What a close game. Selland picked up her 4th a minute into the 3rd quarter. Yet the Jacks play great D and knock down big 3’s and are leading going into the 4th 46-45.

        Overtime! Jacks are showing some real toughness today. Reminds me of when Gonzaga was in Frost a decade ago and that game also went into overtime.

            In overtime, Jacks 75, Gonzaga 72. Thuenink, in the corner, takes a pass from Selland with about 10 seconds remaining in overtime and hits the biggest three of her college career.
            This was an excellent game with lots of lead changes and neither team getting much separation from the other.
            Selland and Thuenink both picked up three fouls early and each got a fourth in the third quarter so they sat on the bench a significant amount of the game (will have to look at stats for playing time).
            Sellend finishes with 18 points -- amazing quality time. Thuenink's solid throughout the game and what a shot at the end.

            We go to 3-0 all-time against Gonzaga.. They came in ranked #18...they're a very good team and should continue to stay in the top 25 but if the Jacks aren't in the top 25 after this weekend, I'll be shocked.

            Side note: the video from GoJacks.com worked well.

              Woe good for her and good win. We better be ranked top 25 after the next poll comes out. Frustrsting gsme wasnt on midco. Good thing usd had lipscomb on tv. Also couldnt get radio. Jacks app had the vikings game. Wish i could have watched it. What a great ot for selland it seems really had big shots and the pass for the winning 3.

                Very disappointed that midco didn't pick the game up.....what a game though! Frost Arena never disappoints. Thuenick has really stepped up this year. If the Jacks can split Missouri State and Kansas State, and take care of the rest, we have an at large resume. This team is special. Just wait till Theisen gets healthy.

                    SDSU should have been ranked last week, and should be top 20 after this win. Seems like the writers who vote don’t look at the box scores or watch any of the games, and just vote based on name recognition. Nice win today!

                        You may check 910 AM The Ranch on the next time around when this happens. The postgame was on that station after the game.

                          If I remember correctly, she blew the knee out just before Christmas a year ago. It seems that it takes most a year to recover, so it could be a while longer.

                              I watched the first half of K State and #11 Kentucky. I realize its only a half, but the Jacks flog both of them if the Jacks play their game.
