    Re: Women's Basketball

Wow a Story that seems positive (of course what could you say negative about last nights crushing of CSP) and no mention of Koupal, so unlike Solari.

Jackrabbits pound top-seed Concordia by 35

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The South Dakota State women have another shot at a berth in the Elite Eight.

The fourth-seeded Jackrabbits demolished top-seed Concordia-St. Paul on its home court 74-39 on Saturday at the Gangelhoff Center in the semifinals of the NCAA North Central Region. . . .

Go Jackrabbits, beat the Sioux! ;D

      Re: Women's Basketball

The gap between the NSIC, RMAC and NCC womens BB is very wide but will narrow considerably with the two state schools departing. I just can't imagine the region being quite the same in the future with no Jacks and no Bison. This likely means more teams like UMD, Concordia, Ft Lewis, etc... Think the quality of teams after the NCC schools is bad now? Wait until next year.

Inexplicably UND finishes ahead of the Jacks in the poll as well as 2 teams which are not in the elite 8.  This makes little sense, but who care.  I included the pre-season poll.  Too bad that didn't work out for Mandy and the yotes.

          Re: Women's Basketball

I had heard there was a nice article in the St Joe paper regarding the Jacks returing to St Joesph to defend their title. It seems they kind of embraced us last year and I'm sure they will be happy to see the large Jack Nation contingent return to their fair city. I looked at the paper online and did not see the article.
