Great win for the women. They had a big lead and let that slip away at the end of the first, but they fought back to take the lead and hold on at the end. Everytime Bama thought they got some momentum, somebody came up with a big play.

Alabama was #51 in the Dolphin rating of D-I WBB teams. SDSU was #79 (just behind Mississippi State and Wisconsin).

SDSU will move up, you'd think. And, it appears, a loss to SDSU shouldn't hurt Alabama that much.

According to my sources we are not eligible until next year when we play a full D-I schedule.
Still, we are having a heck of a season and in our hearts we know we belong! 8)

Regarding Lavin's comments about SDSU not winning the NCC this year.
SDSU has never won the conference outright - tied the last two years - even the year they won the national title. So is this year's edition of the Jacks better than the previous two?
Just because they go off and play big name schools does not mean they would cake walk the NCC. Recent history proves that.Comment
