    Re: NDSU vs SDSU (Women)

NDSU has been in the top 20 4 out of the past 5 years, were D2 runners up in 2000, won the NCC last year and in 2000(SDSU has never won one NCC crown). These don't meet my lofty expectation but that is still plenty of current success. The Jacks may have an edge on current success, but like I said it's not a very big edge. NDSU will keep it within 10 in Frost, and will win in the BSA. Prepare to be shocked on Saturday.

Maybe not, but we've had a share of a couple lately and oh, A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

      It's going to be a hell-uv-a game!

What are you talking about? SDSU won the last two NCC Championships, along with 3 straight Elite 8s and a National Championship.

              Re: NDSU vs SDSU (Women)

I guess the media guide screwed up since in the seson review part it does say we tied for first with SDSU. NCC and region titles are really meaningless, all that matters is NCAA titles and that is why SDSU has the slight edge when talking about the past 5 years.

                Re: NDSU vs SDSU (Women)

The past is important but its the current and the future that really matter. There are a lot of talented women's BB players in the midwest being courted by SDSU, NDSU, UND and the other mediocre DII teams (i.e. Augie, St. Cloud, USD). These SU match-up is a big one with regards to recruiting.

Jack's women should handle the Bison tonight and I look forward to a great battle. I'm sure Coach Ruley will have the Bison fired up and the Jacks had better make their outside shots. If Brooke is hurt that takes away some of our advantage. Should be a great game.
Close at the half but SDSU pulls away early in the 2nd half and holds on.

                  Re: NDSU vs SDSU (Women)

SDSU has been through the wars on the road this year, that gives the Jacks an edge tonight, But I look for a close game (under 10) tonight and another battle up at the BSA later in the season.
                  Jacks  90
                  Bison 81

This is a big game. Good luck to both teams.

I like the BISON by 5.
