    Nice to be in the top 90, with this end of the season surge and some tooting of our own horn we might get some consideration for the post-season.

              Other RPI figures have record at 15 - 8. The Div II do not count.

              Rankings range from 82 - 87.

                How many teams are in the womens NCAA Tournament and how many in the NIT last year. With the NCAA Tournament now owning the NIT I wonder what changes they might make. I know on the mens side of the NCAA they have 64 teams. What a great story if a team in just it's second year of DI Basketball qualifies for the NIT. I'm sure the Jack Nation would travel to wherever they would play.

                  I could be wrong, but I believe the NCAA only owns the men's NIT.

                    Is this the official NCAA RPI or some other website's estimation?

                    The one on the NCAA website was last updated 2/7 from what I can see. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

                      Losing to a team with a higher RPI, even if it was a home game does not hurt that much. Losing to Brown and Colorado hurt us more.

                      On the bright side, beating TAMCC on the road by 23 really helps the RPI.

                        The men's NCAA has 65 teams. There is a play-in on Tuesday the first week of the tourney. I believe the women only have 64.

                          NCAA Women's Tourney has 64 teams and the WNIT has 32. The NCAA doesn't own the WNIT.

                              I would think if we win out and end up in the high 70s rpi we might have a chance. We are peaking at the right time. I realize some unranked teams could get into the NCAA tournament by winning their conference tournament and that potentially bumps teams back to the NIT.
