Just a nasty rumor. I heard that USC may try and buy their way out of coming to Frost. That's what happens when the news kids on the block start playing them tough.

        Re: '06-'07 schedule

That is a great schedule!!! I get to see the Jacks play at UC Davis. I will be there.

I also find it interesting that Alabama is playing in Brookings back to back years. Maybe we negotiated a 2 for 1 deal with them for 2 in Brookings and 1 in Alabama. ;D ;D ;D

It is good to see the Big 12, SEC, Pac-10 and Big East conferences coming to Brookings. I'm a little disappointed that we don't play Nebraska again. Maybe they don't losing those cupcakes OOC games.

        Go Jacks!!!

              Re: '06-'07 schedule

I'm impressed. The home schedule is a heck of a lot better than last year's slate. It'll be great for the students to be able to attend more action at Frost this winter .

I'm looking forward to the home opener against USC and can't wait to hear the date for the Gopher game.

I recall rumblings regarding a buyout of the USC game in Brookings. Anymore word regarding that? If not, time will tell.

Great looking schedule, I hope to make it back for several games.

looks like according to the schedule 16 home games or so.  3 what should be major home games against BIG Conference teams.  I can't wait, we should have a get together before a game in brookings.

they (USC) saw what we had for recruits and laughed their asses off and said "we don't want to embarrass them that bad on their homecourt" ;D I mean come on now, they are a nationally ranked team, why waste time with a nobody team?
