Guebert cooled off shooting, but you have to give her credit for her ability to break the press. She and Gabby are the only two who would attack and split the double teams. You had to keep Gabby in the game in spite of her free throw shooting because of her defense, rebounding and aggressiveness against the press. Miller is just way to timid when she gets trapped.

Congrats on the win. Poor free throw shooting made it closer than it needed to be as SD State was clearly the better team (in this game).

Might as well win another and head to Lexington.

Our chances to win just increased dramatically playing our next game ,as a second rd game compared to a first rd game ,IMO.Nothing comes easy against the top 4 seeded teams,but we have one win under our belt and will be hungry for more,and will have a ton of confidence.We are officially a dangerous team going forward.

Miami took 18 more shots,had 3 more blocks, 7 more steals, 12 less TO's,1 more assist,along with us converting only 59% of our FT's.Yet,we still won,that shows a lot of heart and desire to me,way to go Ladies.

I think Miller will bounce back and Stanford is much more beatable this year, but we will need to play a cleaner game and have some shots fall.
