and they complain about the women's tourney losing money. the ladies would have had to earn their way back to Sioux Falls no matter what... but still... DUMB..
on the other side...anyone know anything about Miami?

IMO they are idiots for not putting us in the SF region.
To even get to Sioux Falls they would have to win 2 games right? Even as a USD fan I think it would be cool if they got a game in Sioux Falls but I think we all know they likely would not have made it that far anyways

Nobody is denying that. BUT, still stupid not to give the chance of it. I bet Albany would have been ok with playing Miami in the Lexington bracket and we could have faced Florida in the Sioux Falls regional...what difference does it make? in terms of ticket sales... A LOT potentially.
Miami's two highest scoring players are Motley(5'9" guard) and Thomas (5'6" guard), they are both play over 30 min/game averaging 15 pts and 11 pts respectively. Only 3 other players average more than 20 min/game. No other players average in double digits. Tallest post is 6'3" she plays about 18 min/game averaging 8 pts and 5 boards a game.

Doesn't the NCAA pick up the cost of traveling too?Not sure, that's why I ask.
Interesting to hear ESPN freak out about South Carolina being placed in the Sioux Falls regional. I guess they wanted SC in Lexington and Notre Dame in Sioux Falls.
