Well that ought to set up a semi-final rematch. It's going to be a tough tourney.

This team isn't going to win many games scoring 60 points.

USD's definitely got the "favorite" tag in this years tournament. It's theirs to win or lose in most people's minds I'd have to say.

I believe it was last year as well, and we all know how that turned out.

Jacks still haven't clinched the #2 seed. USD clinched the #1 seed with their win at IPFW tonight.

Jacks go -10 on the glass and give up 46% shooting to IUPUI.

Guebert lead with 18 points. Thompson with 16 and 13.

Macy Miller: 2-7 FG, 4 points.

Not sure this team has enough offense to win the SLT, let alone win a game in the NCAAT.
Is Macy injured or playing hurt?

Well...USD is at the head of the class so far this year. Jacks are going to have to do more than hope things turn out like last year. They have been outplayed in both meetings...hopefully AJ has a few tricks up his sleeve

IUPUI has been a tough place for the Jacks to win at the last 3-4 years. I'm disappointed in the loss especially since that makes it 2 in a row. That great non-conference record won't be that big of a factor anymore. SDSU will probably get a 13 seed if the Jacks are fortunate enough to win the SLT. Season still isn't over. Win at WIU, get the #2 seed than go from there. This team still can do some damage if they make the big dance. They proved it already at the beginning of the season when they nearly knocked off Notre Dame and Maryland. I Still like our chances against the Jags and the Yotes in Sioux Falls.

Both games against USD have came down to the last possession. The Jacks could very well be 2-0 against the Yotes this year, but they made the plays at the end of the game. The biggest difference between SDSU and USD is that they have a player who can take over in Seekamp. Miller needs to step up and make those plays that Seekamp makes.

SDSU can beat anyone on any given night.

Last possession to tie,not too win. SeeKamps peaking at the right time,as well as USD.

As far as beating anyone,we should start with our conference foes and go from there.I'd be tickled pink if we can go 1-3 against USD this year.

Your point? SDSU was right there in the final minutes. They aren't getting blown out. As if people are acting like they did.

Time to crown USD the champs for the regular season (sincerely congrats, they have a great team) and might as well give them the tourney title as well since SDSU can't even beat IUPUI for the 2nd consecutive year .

Sell should just get on the phone with the NIT committee and put SDSU's bid in for home games right now. Maybe we can get 2-3 more games at Frost and even play Minnesota again!

btw, when SDSU plays and beats USD in Sioux Falls the series record for this season would be 1-2 not 1-3.

Yup,meant win 1 out of three games,1-2.You're right to be upbeat and positive,as it stands,it's anyone's auto-bid for the claiming. It could very well be ours.

I think you mean win 1 out of 3. Unless we somehow plat usd 4 times and go 1-3.

The loss at Frost counts as 2 (at least it felt that way)

Yes,that's what I meant,to win one out of three.
