Horrible display of offense by our 2nd team. 3-13 shooting with multiple wide open shots missed. Geubert has really struggled as well.

Agreed. No driving to basket, just jacking 3's. Good job of getting many O Reb. But then a series of stupid fouls. AJ's looks of frustration. Staring down the culprit, and classic AJ style, "Why???"

O-15 scoring drought 5:45 long to end 2nd qtr. At half, Jacks 33-21 over Denver.

Jacks have shot nearly as well in 3rd as 2nd quarter. Jacks lead shrunk to only 7 to 8 points.

Took Jacks a while to get clicking again, but with 7:24 left in game, Jacks lead is again the 20 that existed at end of one.

Bench clear at 1:50 left, Jacks up 75-50. All starters have been out for a couple of minutes. Chloe hit a 3 just seconds before her and Gabby step off Frost for hopefully the last time in their career.

It's amazing how poor we can play for nearly half of a game and still just miss a 30-point win.

For the first time in several weeks, we will have to put together four very good quarters on Saturday. Take even one off and it will be a loss. Will this team be able to flip a switch and suddenly put together 40 minutes of solid ball after having a bad quarter (or more) in each of the last several games?

I picked a bad week to watch some UConn game highlights (best Lloyd Bridges ,"airport" voice).You want to see a beautifully run offense in women's basketball,just watch their game highlights.

There were a few instances where individual players asserted themselves to get a key rebound,bucket or steal,but we rushed 3 pt shots even when we had more time to square up and get the feet set. When we went 0-fer for so long,we made the mistake of not getting the defensive rebound for awhile,which made it easier for them to come back,we can't have mental lapses like that in Vermillion.

At least the Jacks will know what not to do in Vermillion. Better to have this type of game against Denver than USD ,hopefully,avoiding a similar episode at USD. You never know however,they might shoot lights out in Vermillion. Anyway,this game ended positively and is another win, so now the real fun begins.Hope we have had our poor shooting game of the season with this one here tonight.
