Thumper from Bambi fame would say..."getting thumped"....or maybe "stomped"....naw, that's a more bovine reference, something the Bison might say.

            Logarithmic (base 10) kerblastication.

Don't get overly excited about a win over a severely depleted team.

I would expect Sunday's game in Fargo to be similar since the Bison are suiting only 7 players for the game unless some recoveries happen soon.

The same guy evidently did the Denver game last year. During pre-game he joked with AJ about if SDSU lost tonight that he may not be asked back.

Outside of the Boever thing I thought he did a good job. I'd much rather listen to him than Brad Peterson complain about officials and getting through the roof excited about a ball that rolls off the rim.

We're lucky to have Merriam for men's basketball. He's a great play by play guy.

Very. Tyler is head-and-shoulders above anyone else I've heard on SD radio in a long time. Try listening to the USD broadcasts sometime for a strong contrast. I tune into their games often when they are not on TV.

Before that we had Imming (sp?). He was also good from what I remember.

Miller had 17. Freshman Maddie Guebert had 15...she's the real deal, as advertised.

                        Domination.
I think that Guebert will be a really good player but right now, I think she is still adjusting to the game. She was 5-6 this game and 6-8 four games ago but she has had plenty of games where she has struggled.

If you go from this game back, she has shot-
                        5-6, 2-9, 2-7, 6-8, 1-5, 2-5, 5-9, 5-15,2-10, 3-7, 1-4, 1-6, 1-8, 3-10, 5-9 and 3-10.

If she can play like she did last night, this team will be really tough to beat.

I think you will also find that she was doing better earlier in the season with the 2 point shots vs. 3 point shots. I would expect she will get more space with some of the Summit teams than the OOC matchups. The defensive pressure would be one of the items that she probably has not seen at the high school level.

Agree. Guebert has shown flashes but hasn't been consistent offensively. I believe it will come as she adjusts to the college game. I believe I heard AJ say he really likes her defense and that's why she's been starting.

She seems to play bigger than what she is, must have some serious strength. I was critical of Guebert during the last HS state tournament, but seems to belong at this level. May even excel, eventually.

She may be bigger than she appears. Last year, one of the sites with her information had her weighing about 160#. She may have been on a weight lifting program early with her mother as the coach. At 5'8" and that weight, she is built like the proverbial outhouse.
