    Re: NJIT again...

Good news the girls are on a plane headed out to Newark. So the games on!!! Although, I think Terry's blog jinxed it when the first day he said they made it to forth worth without any flight delays for the second day all season. All in all, everything is a go.

Thanks for the update. I'll be listening tomorrow night. Doesn't matter what the score is as long as we win our 23rd and extend our season, which should be a given either way.

Yes, I do recall. I should be able to listen. Hospital is not that busy and there should be a lull in the middle of the afternoon. Hopefully its over by the half.

            Re: NJIT again...

Terry has reported in his blog that the team has made it to Newark. I'm predicting a 15-20 point victory because of the travel hassles (the uniforms had to go on a later flight and the team won't get to the gym beforehand) and that NJIT feels they have a point to prove after the game at Frost.

I hope NJIT will have turned down their audio system from permanent-hearing-damage setting it was at at the SDSU men's game a couple of weeks ago, to merely earsplitting (I'm not kidding--I'm pretty sure they're violating some kind of safety law with how loud their system was cranked up in that tiny little gym of theirs).

I'm not sure why it was cranked up so high--they don't have to worry about having the PA heard over the crowd noise (you need a crowd to have crowd noise).

Maybe the ladies should run out and pick up some earplugs . . .

                Re: NJIT again...

I've noticed that the Greenfield RPI ratings (which I believe is used by the WNIT committee) do not recognize NJIT as a D-I team. Thus our wins versus them and our two D-II wins won't count. 19 wins is the best we can do using the Greenfield system.

Jacks win the tap. Warkenthien for 2 and she is fouled. Missed FT 2-0 Jacks.
