And , especially with Guebert's mother being her coach , I can't believe she would have committed here unless they were told that she would not be competing with Miller for the same position for three years.
Guebert will not be a point guard in college. She is a shooter.

Thats my guess too, probably see her in the way the jacks used Jill Young.

Miller will probably get more playing time as a 2 instead of a PG but in the half court set will get the ball in her hands plenty to allow her to create and drive which is something we havent really had a womens player who was able to do that. I think she will do plently of that along with hopefully knocking down some 3s. I dont know enough about the other freshman who are coming in. But Millers teammate from HS Kerri young got good playing time last year, and many would argue Miller has become a better overall player then Young is at this point. One would guess she probably will be pressing for a starting job if not 1st off the bench.

I see starting lineup like this
          PG Gabby
          SG Miller
          SF Waytashek
          PF Stevens
          C Clarin

fun to have fans that care enough to even speculate about the upcoming season, eh?

Yes this makes the off season go fast. I was tongue in cheek in my previous post and recalling "Wayne's World"

No kidding. If discussion was limited to only the real "experts", sites like this would immediately cease to exist.

Speaking of next year, who will the point guards be after Gabby? Is Alexis Alexander a PG? We know Chloe has been in there at times. Will Macy Miller move to PG and still score points she has thrown down in high school? Is Keri Young the sub for Waytashek? Will Ober or Flaata push Clarin for the post and move Clarin to the 4? Do Walters or Stuart rise above the underclass players? (AJ has the problems the other Summit coaches would hope to entertain.) Thompson and Severyn might want some playing as well. It will be an entertaining year to watch the Jackrabbit WBB.

I think all the players owe it to their team mates to play hard and get the most from their time on the court. If everyone does that, most everything else works out.

When Guebert gets here (2015-16),and Macy turns out as everyone expects, there will be times when we'll be playing a 3 guard line up I suspect, instead of the usual PG,SG,SF,PF,C line up.I'm sure they'll both get lots of playing time.As much as AJ subs, maybe he'll stick to more conventional, but he could experiment too.Of course Boever will be gone and I don't know who AJ will favor at PG.
I'm thinking a little too far ahead on that,we've got this whole season first.

This years team will have plenty of talent too with the five seniors.Just about wish ND would have played us this year instead of playing us the year after. But Ober ,Flaata,Stevens Miller,Thompson,Young ,the whole team will be a little more seasoned too.At least we'll have DePaul and Arkansas to provide a great challenge this year, along with the other teams too.

I just saw Gabby Boever limping around campus with a large brace that covered her entire leg. It looked like a knee problem. Does anyone know what happened or the severity of it?

She has about 2 months to be back. It will not help her conditioning, but she used a redshirt her first year with an injury. Gabby will create the effort needed for recovery. Hopefully it was not a major injury.
