The difference in the game, is we flat out out hustled them, for loose balls, and rebounds and just looked like we wanted it more. we were running hard the entire game, they looked gassed several times.

Good luck ladies, i will be working sunday so wont be able to see it. Any chancde this game makes it on Midco sports net?

An article from the Star Tribune does not pull any punches about Coach Borton and the fading program in today's paper.

Would Minnesota hire a male coach?

One thing that I've been thinking about.

If AJ does indeed leave SDSU our vacant coaching position is going to be VERY sought after. We should get an incredible amount of great candidates to fill AJ's shoes. One other thing is for sure. If AJ leaves he leaves this program in a better position than when he took over. At our level that's about all we can ask for.

I don't think it's a guarantee that AJ is leaving either. He has an extremely talented crop of freshman and possible the best recruit he's ever had (Macy Miller) coming in next year.

                    This could be very interesting.

AJ is from MN so that has some intrigue.

                    1. Does MN have an interest in AJ? According to the article they do. They should.
                    2. Does AJ have the desire to "move up" to a major conference?
                    3. How attractive is the MN job? Hear me out here, obviously it is a Big 10 school and the Big 10 is strong in WBB. The Gophers are struggling in most everything but hockey and wrestling. If he is interested in the jump is Minnesota where he would want to go or is he wanting to move up the ladder further yet?

I hope he stays but will be glad if he goes. He's earned the right to move up in my book. Either way SDSU wins!

I would think the Gopher job would be another step towards that goal.

I agree. No question. My question is if this is the step he is interested in or is he wanting to move further up?

I think the longer AJ is in Brookings, the less likely he is to leave. He has a wife and kid here and obviously likes SDSU as he's stayed here this long already.

Its a whole different animal living in Minneapolis and dealing with UM boosters than it is living in South Dakota.

I think your right. He almost left once....what was that like 8 years ago.

He could very well be at SDSU for life.

                            He could also leave tomorrow.

I don't know about the rest of you, but looking at the short list, if I'm the AD at Minnesota AJ is my clear front-runner and would be a home-run hire. Young coach, fantastic recruiting ties to Minnesota and other Midwestern states, proven winner with multiple NCAA appearances.........the list goes on.

In my opinion, he should be their clear #1 target. I may be a bit biased though.
