He's a guy with a family now so his rejection of GB is hard to put into context since his personal life has changed so much. He's proven he can coach. I hope he wants to retire here. He's so good at his job.

All around shooting from the arch is improving. So our current model of spot up shooters is getting lost in the speedy, athletic girl that now can shoot.

well that sucked. to answer hairball. colleges just like pros want to hire coaches that win in the post season. getting there is fine but win. a big nock on Marty Shottenheimer (sp) I believe when he was hired as coach at San Diego Chargers was he couldn't win in the playoffs after all his success in the reg season.

I was thinking the exact same thing today. No one knows but AJ and family is my guess. If he is anything like me, I would expect a move before his kid(s) get into school if it is going to happen.

IMO, it would have to be a HUGE jump to be considered.

Filbert - I can't believe you just posted that! Isn't that blasphemy in your house?

Jacks should be much tougher in the next 2 years. I see something special coming from Waytashek.

Great season ladies. Walk with your heads up and be proud of your season and in some cases - Eide, Lingle, Dietel great careers. Thanks for being a Jackrabbit. The teams our seniors have beaten and the places they have been is simply amazing. Congrats ladies.

I wouldn't neccessarily say bad habits more like a lack of being pushed on a nightly basis. It is hard for a team to take the next step when the next best team they play is the second 5 in practice.
-South Dakotan by birth, a Jackrabbit by choice.

We need a tougher conference,so we can play against better athlete's other than early in the season, by the time the Ncaa's roll around, we are too conditioned to slow,etc.....we just can't adapt in less than a week to prepare.....SC stay's sharp all season long.....they are way more prepared than we are, just by virtue of that fact alone.

Liberty, marist, most mid majors have this disadvantage, although Creighton overcame this today and won....but all the stars have to align and you need to hit shots.....that never materialized for us today.

For me to feel we have a shot come tournament time,we'd have to blow all the Summit teams out of the water by 20 or more, the way BCS schools would(and the 2008-2009 team did),where i'd feel comfortable, not losing two games and winning others by less than 5 pts. These are high rpi teams,BCS schools wouldn't even have to break a sweat against them.

South Carolina had the top six rebounders in the game.

                  9, 7, 7, 6, 5, 4, we had three girls with 4.

What hurts is we were supposed to limit their rebounding, harder to do than say i guess. They did play some less athletic ,but none the less tall (6'3) women

like the general consensus is the Jacks will not succeed in the tournament until the quality of the other Summit teams improve.

Good game and good luck next season. I think this was one of the better games we played this season.

                            Say what?
When you put on that jersey, the name on the front is more important than the name on the back.

Lesson in post play, offensive rebounds, and desire to hustle on defense. Ouch. Tentative after muscled.
