We have a bad habit of letting teams that are hot shooting three's to be wide open repeatedly.Bad teams as far as shooting three's have no problem with us,if it was just one team occasionally,is one thing, but it seems like a re-occuring theme, Zone is not fast enough to keep up with the ball, never challenge the perimeter passing.

Eide misses a 3. IUPUI shooting 2, up 3. That'll probably do it. Boever hits a 3 at the buzzer, leaving us 1 point short. That game was ugly.

Even worse, we have a habit of letting teams that aren't good at shooting threes come into Frost and light the place up. The men do it, too.

UGLY is right. We played good D except for the possessions directly following our own points. IUPUI hit tons of timely shots and deserves credit for it.

I did not think it would be possible for a Summit team to shut down both Eide and Watashek in the same game. I'm not sure how much of it was IUPUI and how much of it was just those two scorers having an off night. Whatever the case, the conference race is not over yet.

Well we played horrible couldn't buy a basket and iupui was makinh a lot of big shots and still only won by 1. If anyone will get a team to respond it will be AJ.

                I blame mirror scheduling.

Do you suppose we could give the IUPUI Jags some credit for a great game played. They did knock down those threes when they needed them, plus their defense was very good IMO. SDSU just got out played.

One of the Purdue games comes to mind,Moses hitting twelve three's in that game was the difference in that game.Oh well, disappointing loss, we'll get better as a team learning from it.

No,not three in a row as wide open as they were.Zone too slow, when ball reverses direction,i was watching this same thing three times in a row ,they miss one, different game

I've heard announcers comment that all (OK...MOST) dIV 1 players are good enough shooters to more than likely make a wide open three point shot, otherwise they wouldn't be Div 1 players.IUPUI was hot hitting the big three when they needed one , so why keep running the slow Zone when it was getting beat on the ball reversal, and no one challenged the perimeter pass, no one went for a steal.sometimes big plays are done by players who know when to attempt them and what big play to make.Hats off for effort though,no quit in this team.

We can learn from this loss, so it's not all bad.The sun will still rise in the morning.Go Jacks

Can and will are two different things. Next game is going to be REAL interesting.

Beyond Boever and Heiser , not a lot to get excited about. Lingle should also be getting more minutes. Hard to understand shooting that poorly on your home floor. Going to be tough to win games when Eide shoots 1 for 11 and turns it over 5 times.

Didn't check the women but that's flat out not true for the men. In 9 home games for the men, opponents have shot 34 % (60-176) on three-pointers to the Jacks' 38% (65-169). In the three Summit home games so far, opponents have shot a paltry 22% (15-68). I hope they all come in and light the place up like that.
