What happened to THAT team? There was a stretch in late December/early January where I thought that this team was going to easily cruise through the Summit and might end up with an 10/11 seed. Yes, they have lost only two games, but they also barely survived games with IPFW and UMKC.

I'm hopefull that a home crowd and veteran experience will get this team through the tournament, but I sure don't feel certain about it. I guess that will make it much more fun if they do win.
What constitutes "cruising through the Summit League"? Isn't winning by 2 games "cruising", IIRC, Jacks average winning margin is close to double digits. Remember, the Jacks winning 2 of 4 Summit tourney titles were in overtime. Winning a league championship is rarely "easy". I'll be unpleasantly surprised if Jacks fall in "da Falls". Will they win should they make the NCAA tourney? I think this team has a reasonable shot. However, it will be IF the whole team shows up for that game.

Really? If this is regression, I'll take it any year, any time, any place, any sport, and season.

21-7, on their to winning Summit by two games, another conference championship.

      Regression?
      First 14 games: 9-5
      Last 14 games: 12-2
Average margin of all 13 Summit wins for the season: 16
Average margin in four February Summit wins (so far): 17

Finally, blaming officiating is what our friends up north do. Good teams grind through it. Like going 21-7 and having a better second half than first.
More than anything your post shows how spoiled Jackrabbit women's fans have become. 300 teams around the country would take this kind of regression right now and not look back.

I should have been more explicit ,I meant their quality of play has somewhat regressed since their play ending the OOC part of the schedule due to poor officiating as part of it,not what they've accomplished over-all.It's quite common for Jacks fans to think the qaulity of refereeing in the Summit could be improved upon,as well as on Terry's live chat, what with RRQ and such. You are right about Jacks fans being spoiled though,i count myself in the spoiled catagory.I do understand the point you are making, you are right in that assertion.
