The South Dakota State University women's basketball team will be in search of a season-best four-game winning streak as it closes the first half of the Summit League schedule with a matchup Friday night at North Dakota State.
Tipoff for the Katherine Bergum Classic is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at the Bison Sports Arena, with television coverage on Midco Sports Net starting at 7 p.m.

NDSU holds a 38-35 series advantage. The Jackrabbits have narrowed the gap considerably during the Division I era, holding a 12-3 advantage. Let's work to the opportunity to get to .500 with the Bison this season. Bison may be an opponent in the Summit tourney, but need to sweep the regular season games, starting tonight.
Jacks are deeper, more disciplined, and generally better than the Bison. Get off to a quick start, and this could be done with lots of mop up time. Start slow, and Jacks/Bison could tussle all game long. IMHO, this is a 95% chance for a Jacks W. Very disappointed if Jacks fall to Bison in Fargo.
