I don’t think there will be much trickle down at all. Both clubs have reached blueblood status and the way each school handled the transition - I still can’t believe they pulled it off without anyone catching a whiff of what had happened before it was announced.
Nebraska is paying their girls more than any program out there - why would you as a player give that up; especially playing in the best VB conference in the nation.
I would expect Louisville would suffer a little more (the ACC is nearing the Big 10 in depth and quality - but still not there).
I feel bad for the portal signee Nebraska just signed from Baylor. Her first visit was Kansas, then the coach retired. She visited Oregon and then (Oregon coach) Ulmer took the Kansas job. Then she visited and committed to Nebraska, then cook retires!
Sounds like she’s staying with Nebraska through it all.

Jacks taking on the Huskers this afternoon in tiny Ord, NE. I’m sure it’ll be a packed gym. Good off season challenge to say the least.Comment

Schetnan not playing today. Our Boise St transfer looks really good. Commentators also said we beat the Gophers a few weeks ago.Comment

Watching the girls play Illinois today. Interesting that Van Egdom is in the team picture on the website but is not at the match or listed on the roster.Comment

Bummer. Asked around and sounds like she wanted more playing time. Kind of strange timing as she played in the scrimmage vs Augie but I have to trust our staff on this one. Guessing she won't be able to transfer anywhere until the semester is over.

Thanks, I'll have to read that as I couldn't get the game on to watch it.

Three games into the season and the Jacks have beat a Big 10 school and swept a SEC school. Wow!Comment

Wow this team is on a roll! BIG weekend tournament in Minneapolis as they play Dayton and South Florida who are both RV in the polls then #13 Minnesota on Sunday. They swept Dayton today in 3 sets! Two more big tests this weekend but they passed the first easily. I continue to be impressed with them more and more!Comment
