    The bottom line though is fans missed seeing a good team come to Frost, and a good but certainly not the best effort by our women team. I think Coach Johnston would agree with that comment. The youth aspect of the roster is showing at times and during this game.

    I dont think UNO posters have affected me, I may be overly optimistic and disappointed with what really are not bad attendence numbers.

    SDSUFAN,

    Can't argue with anything you said. Like I said I was making an general observation and not singling you out by any means.

    Go State! ;D

      89rabbit;
      No offense taken, but it certainly is not a problem for me to talk about points of difference. I think the analogy of 10 blind men examining an elephant and disclosing what they felt, kind of applies here. The 10 blind men all had different observations about the elephant depending where they were located in relation to the elephant.

      I think also with Brookings, SDSU being the only game in town, you sense people are looking for good entertainment, and I was hoping for a larger turnout. The weather was a mess, Friday night, which probably kept a number fans that are 50 to 100 miles away from coming to the game.

      Its going to take awhile for some fans to catch on to the quality of opponents that we now face regularly and at home as well as on the road.

We'd all like it to be better. By the way, while I was watching football yesterday, I saw a couple of TV ads promoting Tuesday's men's game.
        I think this needs to be re-stated!

        The women should be drawing well--they're a good team deserving of a good following.

        The men are struggling (to put it mildly) but they're still drawing fairly solidly. Remember that the average attendance for I-A is somewhere around 5,000, which means for every Kentucky pulling in 23,000 a night there's a dozen Chicago States who get 800 on average. If we're drawing about double that with the team we have and the schedule we've played (especially last year), and the weather and scheduling we've had so far this year, the upside when Nagy gets the ship righted and we start winning a few games looks pretty good to me.

          As most already know the score of the NDSU-MTU game was a good outcome for our neighbors to the north.

          I beginning to wonder if the MTU team ate too many pancakes in Perkins in Brookings on Saturday Morning.
          Apparently the Blue Raiders came out flat in Fargo.

          I still think they are a good team.

          Here is the link to game story and its not from the Fargo Forum.
