Which is why I warn people that Western Illinois is playing pretty well--they've won four in a row:
    at Oral Roberts 64-62
    at Centenary 64-55
    Southern Utah 63-49
    UMKC 64-59

    They're playing really good defense . . .

I have high regards for Jim Molinari and think he will get that program turned around. As depressing as I find Macomb, at least it's a residential school and could turn into a pretty good rival for the Jacks.

the poor jacks just can't pull out a win agains ndsu...they have been in prime position to win the past 3 matchups and have fallen short. You better believe Kai Williams and Callahan won't let that happen if they see eachother in the playoffs

Ray Meyer and son Joey would not have been so hardly regarded at De Paul in the mid eighties if they had not had Jim Molinari doing all the leg work on recruiting, There were some individuals that made the NBA, and all there names escape me, but Jim had a big hand in recruiting all of them. I would agree, we cant take him lightly and maybe it appears something is starting work for WIU.

I think they are the last team we have not beaten yet in confrence and its time we do, we got the road wins off our back now its time to move forward again and show NDSU the start of a new era.
I think it looks like SDSU won't get a shot at NDSU unless it's in the championship game. That's a shame because I'm with most of you that would like to see it happen. I want to see how this game would be handled by the team. I still can't believe that Moss and both Callahans fouled out like they did. Griffan only played about 12 minutes. I'm thinking that this would be the "last shot" at NDSU(by Kai, Garrett and Mark) but then again the game in Frost was the 1st "last shot" and we saw how that turned out.
NDSU's seniors last year, were just better than our team. They were built for the run they had last year. This should have been our year. I just didn't see the fire this year that I thought this team would have.

You said it, the fire and who wanted it more. NDSU made it obvious they wanted to win those games more then us, but looking at over all confrence standing we are prolly the better team. Being the better team means nothing if you cant play hard enough to win those games. I still think no matter what, we had 3 foul out in regulation and NDSU had to get 2 lucky 3 pointers to have a chance so I think they got lucky. It will be our turn soon enough.
