While I don't think Tyler does too bad, I do think that he gets winded in his color commentary. I think he will do a nice job with more experience though.
Nice start for the Jacks 20-9 with about 11:00 to go.

I don't mind his actual basketball commentary. Just could do with out the wise cracks he has. Probably isn't much different than any other commenatator. Some will like, some won't. Goes with the position I suppose.

I think he is a better play by play guy then color comm. Seems like a guy who takes his job seriously and does work to get better.

Completely agree. I think he does an alright job and is always working to get better. Did not mean to sound too negative on him. I am glad he is back this year.

I did not take it thats what you meant. some guys dont seem to give enough information with whats happening. If anything he gives to much at certain times it seems. Its better he gives more then not enough, and he is very discriptive too. The guy who did the wyomhing game, he was not as good i did not think. never knew the score or time or what was going on. Think Imming and Merriam were at a football game.

Should we feel incouraged today so far with whats happening? I am only able to read on here so no radio or video. I hope this is an effort the team is giving because they are figuring out things, thats why they are looking better instead of playing a lower divison why they are looking better today.

I think Tyler will be one of those guys who will be really good when he is a little more mature. He still is only 20-something and just graduated SDSU a few years ago. I'm not blown away by Tyler-sometimes he tries too hard to be a radio guy I think and gets wordy. In about 10-years he should be again really good...if he is still here. Think his dream job would be to get a baseball gig, which he will probably get if he is willing to do as much as he does for as little as he probably gets paid!
Radio/TV guys are like music...some people like country, some people like rock-n-roll, some people like rap...
