Nate did sound a little out of control, especially in the 2nd half.

Kind of surprised that WHite, Fiegen and Rader played so little. But why mess w/ what we had working.
Personally, I think Nagy played his cards correctly by going with more experience. Wyo was hardly the game for these new ones to cut their teeth on. Moss was Moss tonight and so were the others who shined last season. Wyo apparently had a lot young guys too, and we might have had a an edge in playing experience as a team. Save the other three freshman for the Mayville game. That might work better.

I think the big thing was that Cordova was able to play 30+ minutes.... He didn't have a great box score game but when he is not in there the level of play falls more then any other position....

And there were some who were getting their panties in a bunch over the exhibition! So happy for all the guys who have been here through the rough starts and for Coach Nagy to get an empty the bench win on the road in the first game! Keep it going Jacks!

I'm looking forward to watching the Jacks play 10 man rotations in the men's games and 10+ rotations in the women's games during the doubleheaders. Versatility, team play, discipline.....

I love watching good basketball at Frost!!

Sounds like he had a heck of a game, as did all the uperclassmen. Sweet.

It was cool leaving frost after an exciting victory and then turning on the radio and listening to a Jacks blowout! I can't wait to watch this team back in Frost. The precedent has been set in our student section for the season. I can't wait! Go Jacks!

I think we can put the Dakota State exhibition behind us now!

What a win for the Jacks. Given our road struggles the past several seasons there couldn't be a better way to start the season. Great to see Kai off to a great start.

“They are a veteran group and they ran a lot of sets that they never showed on an exhibition film,” Schroyer said. “They had us back on our heels. They are a good basketball team, and we played like freshmen and sophomores. We had that ‘deer in the headlight’ look.

It would appear that Nagy's practice of playing exhibition games close to the vest paid off. They might have beaten Dakota State by 40 but to what purpose?

did we finally get that monkey off our backs or is this an anomoly, that we havent done anything untill we do it in confrence? I was worried when the game started but the team showed we were what we hoped they would be, a good team taht played the way we as fans and coaching staff were expecting, good game plan, rebounding hitting open shots for the most part not to many turnovers. all in all, great way to start the year. this team could really be something special. I could see callahan sarget and Kai, all avg close to 15 point agame and cordova 10 and several off the bench getting 5-7. we have something that can be better then we think, just need to prove it in confrence. great to see Kai shooting well to start the year. With the depth and experince we have back, i can see those 3 having great years. did the freshman get in much? i wasnt able to listen to the game much, but I heard palarcas name a few times so that is great for him he can either start i think or is a great PG off the bench. seems he will get better every year.
