Sorry, just surprising that a fan of a team who lost by 40 to a mediocre team would come on and talk noise to fans of a team who thumped a mediocre team. Oh well. What a great night! One of the best for the mens AND womens team since the jump to D1?

This will open eyes on a national level (to an extent). www.midmajority.com is a popular basketball website for Mid-Major programs that keeps track the upsets between Mid-Major & Big conferences. This is the first "upset" of the season so I'm sure it will get some mention.

What a great way to start the season! Didn't get to listen to the game, so I got nothing to base an analyzation off of. Sounds like Sargent played pretty well....I'm loving that we have another year of him after this one yet. Glad to see Kai played well as well.

Agreed. Now we need to keep focus against Mayville State (shouldn't be hard) and then go and hopefully win a game in the Paradise Jam.

2-0 to start...

3-2 after the Paradise Jam would be great.....

Beat Denver and enter our first Summit game 4-2 after playing Wyo, #4 Purdue, Boston College and then probably DePaul or ECU.

A 6-3 start is very possible.

8-5 in non-conference is very realistic.

8-5 non-conference after playing @Wyo, neutral games vs. #4 Purdue, Boston College, @ Nevada, @Minnesota is pretty respectable.

If we can do 8-5 and then do 11-7 in the Summit and then win our first round Summit game in SF we're talking a 20 win season!

I found it interesting, when talking about how Nate struggled, that Nagy said Palarca is a great backup. I guess he plans on keeping Nate as the starter. Not that it matters. I think Nate logged less than 20 minutes.

Nate did sound a little out of control, especially in the 2nd half.

Kind of surprised that WHite, Fiegen and Rader played so little. But why mess w/ what we had working.
