Another thing. DSU did not score a field goal in the second half until about twelve minutes left to go in the half. The points scored to that point were on shooting free throws.

I'm with you Sturgis. I was only able to watch the first half (5-year-old fell asleep at the game) but there seemed to be a lot of talent there. You can't take much away from a game against DSU. But I saw indications of good depth and some talent. We'll see. With all those young players, it might take some time. But I'm generally encouraged.
      Holy nutmeg!

No question Wyoming is going to be the real test to date. Coach Nagy said they lost some good players last year to graduation and he said they played some young players. So this will be a good match up.

The negativity begins before the first regular season game. NICE!!!

Play 16 people, starters all play less than 17 Min, no Kai, No sets, obvious Coach Nagy wasn't concerned with blowing anyone out or putting on a show. SDSU wins this game by 30+ if they decide to play starters regular minutes, run sets and limit the bench play.

Looked to me as though Coach Nagy was more concerned about playing his inexperienced players and people he hopes will contribute as the year goes on.

My opinion... Jacks weren't out to impress anyone. This game was a typical exhibition game... Play your inexperienced players, get your starters limited minutes and get out with no injuries. Looks to me like this was an exhibition success.
