We had a chance there, we had it to ten, they came back and pushed it out, without playing with Andre, we just don't have a lot of bench. Cadwell can't play the whole game. Teams are guarding him and not guarding anyone else. Can't give up 18 offensive rebounds.
Physically, their 2 and 3 guards destroyed us, it looked like men and boys. Turned Casey Winters into an all-american. You can see, our guys physically and emotionally are just beaten down. Every time I look at them I wonder do they have anything left. I feel bad for them.
Bad defense, trying to get steals rather than playing behind them. Post players struggled mightily. The team that's more physical will end up with fewer fouls.
They just physically manhandled us. There's not enough emotionally in the tank for them to fight.
Loney--missed a lot of easy shots, could have had 25 tonight, a better free throw shooter than he showed.
Jose Frias is starting to play better, I don't want him to be too offensive-minded.
Utah State if we play like this we might get beat by 70. The guys need some rest, it's possibly we went too hard in practice. We're trying to get better defensively in practice, might be going too hard.
I've allowed Troy to take over some practices because the players have heard my voice too much. You can only tell the players you believe in them so much, at some point they have to believe in themselves.

Rough start to a tough stretch in the schedule. I keep looking for something to pin hopes for another Central Florida-type victory on. Can't see much reason for optimism for the short term after listening to tonight's game. We've got an injury-thinned bench, big guys who are constantly in foul trouble, and lack scoring threats to offset Cadwell. Even the coach seemed more deflated than ever in his post-game remarks. Time and more talent is the answer, I guess. When does the 2006-2007 season begin?This space for lease.Comment

Nice game guys. Glad we got the win, but I think the game next year will be tougher!

Nice song. I like those type of fight songs.
Its a shame we did not play well enough to win. The Jacks are very much on a low note right now. Now with Gilbert's sore knee, we are getting worse not better in terms of ability to win games.Comment
