Brandon have been very good in recent years , some of their recruiting was ...shall we say a little suspect....it would be interesting to see how many players finished school with their degrees....
Hey, he recruited me, how much more suspect can you get? Seriously, I remember hearing some things and feeling a little uneasy about Coach McCutcheon and basically that whole program, probably why I never really considered going there.

Do you have a big powerplant in Regina?
?? What does have to do with Beer? There is something called private messaging.
for those of you that attended, were there long beer lines?
Interesting how that Mariana (no. 1) from ORU was t'd up for staring down the referee and then bumping into him on purpose, and then how some of the ORU men's guys wouldn't shake hands with our guys.....and they are worried about beer sales? For a mega Christian-based school, I thought they didn't behave very Christian like.

In high school at Yankton we used to play Hartington (Neb) Cedar Catholic as sophomores. U talk about dirty players and I don't mean mud and grass stains.
I apologize if this question has already been answered. I just looked at the Summit tourny site and it says the SDSU men are playing Sun Mar. 8 at 6:00PM. Is that right, or are they playing saturday night at 8:30?

I don't remember much of a line during the afternoon session. The lines were much longer during the mens games. I think the length of line had more to do with speed than the number of people in line. When I was in line people either did not have a wristband or were arguing over how many beers they could buy at a time.

The same happened to me in high school when we played James Valley Christian. Not sure which was worse, the elbows, shoving, tripping, (one player who scratched you at every chance), or the foul language.

My wife has two siblings who attended ORU. That is one strange place. It is very much a do as I say, not as I do kind of world they all live in.
Isn't there a saying something to the effect of "sinners need Jesus more than saints do?"
I'm not completely sure what you were meaning, filbert, but I think it pertains to this - ORU has never sought out only athletes that share our beliefs - the thought being just as you say. For the most part, at least so far as I am aware, there have been relatively few negative incidents involving our athletes - they usually represent the university well. But I'm sure that there have been situations where that wasn't the case.
