Poor effort tonight all around. You would think they could feel that they are in charge after the last five games but they looked like they did in the first half of the season. This kind of reminded me of Denver.

Just an FYI, IPFW got their 4th win, not 5th yet. Either way, we need the Western Illinois game bad now.

Missed most of the game, how did Kai play tonight?

I think he had 15 points but all in the second half...9 rebounds I think.

stand corrected, thanks. Point still is that Jacks REALLY need to take care of business at WIU on Saturday night. If SDSU has any aspirations of ascendign to the top tier of Summitt and perenially staying there, these are exactly the games they need to nail down.

Not just win, but win convincingly.

I did not see the game, Am I wrong in assuming IUPUI did not play us zone again, like they did at our house?

We shoot lights out at homewhen they played us zone, and I could not figure out why they did not man up after a while.

You're right, get a guy in there that makes poor decisions. That'll help down the stretch.

Say what you want about Casey, but he was called on to be a spark last night and he delivered 7 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 1 turnover in 11 minutes. Garrett Callahan and Clint Sargent had a combined 16 points on 5-18 shooting with 5 turnovers! I'm sure Nagy will take some mistakes as long as they are aggressive which the majority of the team was not last night.

Say what YOU want about Garrett and Clint, but they have been delivering all year! They didn't have a great game, they weren't the only ones.

I know you are talking about last nights game. I'm not one to fawn over a player for having an isolated descent game, just as i don't call out players for the occasional bad one.

What baffles me about last night, is that the players want this streak to end more then anyone,so how could they put out such a poor effort.....all of them.

One of the posters on the previous page hit the nail on the head when he said its a mental thing. These guys have improved tremendously from last year but they still haven't gotten that conference road gorilla of their back. When they get one then I think the whole team will be able to take a deep breath and move on.

Let's be straight about one thing though, winning on the road in any conference is a tough thing to do. We're a different team at home as well.

This is all part of the maturation process. The team is growing up right in front of us but we need to remember that they are still a very young team. It's maddening to us fans but think about how they feel after a game like last night. They sense they are improving and are excited about what is happening! Yes, I've talked to several of the players and coaches and I'll promise you that they want to get that road win a lot more than we do. They will get there!

They've got another great chance on Saturday night!

                            GB, GB, GJ!

                            SUPERBUNNY
                            MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, BIZUN!!!

One thing the players have to do is not get in foul trouble so early in the game. When the team has 2 of it's core players sitting on the bench for most of the first half, that is killer to the offense. When the player from IUPIU picked up his fourth foul(read the thread last night and I'm too lazy right now to find his name), the Jacks really needed to go after him.
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

I agree and also when someone is hot like Kai let's continue to feed him the ball as for some reason he did not get many more touches after he started the second half on fire!
