Coach Nagy is getting emotional talking about Kai's 1000th point. It's been a long road, but I think we are there.

Ah, c'mon! Let's just celebrate the win. Why do we gotta have the negativity tonight?

        AT LEAST wait until tomorrow!

Nagy: didn't execute great...have a lot of work to do...but when he sat down, he saw they were ready to go tonite going into OT. We guarded, 22 offensive rebounds....played our five for most of the second half. happy with defense. talked about Kai, got emotional about Kai's play tonight. Pretty happy to see him make that play Cordova: struggled from the line
likened running game in football to working Bentsen over and wearing him out.
Clint got hot second half and sparked our comeback. joked about Kangas reminding him of Ryan Miller putting shots up from all over. Though we out toughed Oakland.

Southern Utah is up on Western Illinois by double digits, and if that holds, here are the standings (If WIU comes back to win they'll just flip records; either way Jacks are tied for fifth, but just a game out of third)

NDSU 10-1 Jacks CAN win in Fargo
ORU 9-1 Ditto, in their house
                Oakland 6-5
Centenary 5-5 (play them at end of season)
                Jacks 5-6
IUPUI 5-6 (let's get a road win next week)
SUU 5-6 (we owe them at home)
WIU 4-7 (lost seven of eight since Jacks beat them, get 'em on the road)
                IPFW 3-8
UMKC 2-9 (don't forget the heartache at their place).

Jacks really need to go get these next two road games, we owe UMKC and SUU return favors on our court, and we should not consider NDSU or ORU unattanaible. Third place is not out of reach at all.

This is my way of celebrating the victory. Nothing negative intended. Go back and see what these clowns have written in the past and now I think they need to defend their thoughts, whether they are viewed postively or negatively.

You have every right to be.....it's been a long long road.

This win was absolutely huge. Not only did we beat an extremely good team, we came back from 15+? down. And most importantly.....we did it in front of almost 6,000 fans. That ought to spark some interest and tell people the Jacks men are BACK!

Just got home and checked TV's blog for the rundown. I had checked the score when they were down 10 in the second half and didn't have real high hopes. But I got so pumped up reading the blog, I had to recap the game through all the posts on here. Way to go Jacks!

Understand, Nidaros!! Wasn't trying to jump all over you. I'm pretty psyched and enjoying the positive comments for once, is all.

Good bet Cubbyland will be rocking tonight.

Would love to hear a report on the crowd. 5,700... that's some basketball, Harry!

BTW, 4,779 in Fargo on THEIR Saturday night, not that we're comparing.
