Win against Oakland could be the difference in the tie breaker. Since NDSU's and ORU's only losses are to the top 3 teams, Oakland is the next highest. SUU and Centary have beat them.

Nice to finally win a close one, even if at home. This team has shown the fight to come back after the last three games and play hard. Sounds like Kai stepped his intensity up tonight.

Pumped to be able to make it up to Frost this weekend.

For the record, we didn't blow Oakland out. It was neck and neck(something like 7 or 8 ties in the second half alone) until about 3:30 left. Then the Bison put together a 13-0 run that broke Oakland's spirit. Down by 10 with a minute left, they didn't even try to pressure, just let us run down the clock. Kind of a sad end to a fantastic game.

Very nice win for the Jacks tonight. AC was tough down low and everyone else shot well up top. Talk about team effort on the boards tonight. Excellent free throw shooting (even AC). Only point I can point out as bad was some really relaxed passing. Turnovers in the first half from poor passes was killing us. But they fought the entire night and held on for the win. Really expected a better crowd than what was there. Garrett's head took a good thumping on the floor. That was a very solid hit. Very lucky he wasn't seriously hurt on that one.

Terrible blocking call! What's up with these inconsistent refs?

Horrible again (both ways). I didn't pay to watch the refs. The continuation call on Garrett was unbelievable. Fouled at the free throw line and the guy takes a couple more steps and the bucket counts. But it is exactly what we expect from Summit League refs.

That run to end the game wasn't all Woodside's doing, (if the Bison Media blog got it right) which really surprised me.

That's kind of been his deal lately--taking over close games at the end (SDSU, UMKC spring to mind)
