Anyone out there compare these players to current/former SDSU players? What are they like on the court? Thanks!
I don't know much about the Zach from Chicago but Horstman would probably be closest to Chad White it type of player. Really explosive, really good shooter, not quit the ball control type of player Chad is but is a little more physical and would be a little better inside. I haven't seen Heemstra play but from what I'm hearing kinda a White/Heemstra cross of a player.

TV reporting that Zach Horstman and Zach Monaghan have signed. Welcome to SDSU to our two newest Jackrabbits.

TV said in his live blog today that we haven't offered Monroy, but have interest. I think this class of recruits needs a point guard for the future and a big. Estan Tyler is an outstanding point guard from the cities and he is still unsigned. I don't know if we have interest in him or not.

I could be wrong on both of my opinions here....but....I saw Josh play AAU this summer and he didn't appear 7'2. 6'10, 6'11 maybe. And he didn't impress me in any way either. No disrespect, just my opinion.

I believe SDSU has offered Monroy. IMHO, SDSU has the inside track.

USU is a very good mid major program and if they have interest Josh must have decent potential.
Hope he doesnt break from a strong wind snap like a twig. 7-2 and 225 is not right. atleast he has time to grow into his frame hopefully. 7-2 is worth a look in my book.

Don't care much for how he runs his program but this is a dynamite quote. You aren't going to get them all.

I find it dissappointing whenever we lose a player that we offer a scholarship too. I don't care if they live in Brookings, SD or Los Angeles, CA. Good luck to Cedric, I hope he has a good college career.

I guess I would say his offer from Coach Nagy qualifies him as that "level" of player.

Completely agree. My point was that we need our program to be attractive enough (via success, other recruits, being in his home state, playing in his home town, etc.) to out weight the advantages of going out of state to a program that is somewhat better than us.

I'm not trying to say that Mr. Lang was THEE recruit we had to have.
I just think we need to win the battles for our home state kids against schools like UTEP, UW-Milwaukee, Montana, UC Irvine, Pacific, etc. because we aren't going to win them against Florida, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
