Glas and UND lost a recruit from Wisconsin who stated that the uncertainty regarding the head coach at UND was not something he was comfortable with.  The kid is considering Winona St. and a couple of other schools. Rumor is as stated that Glas will join the UNI staff as an assistant. Maybe Glas is uncomfortable with the uncertainty at UND?

No need to speculate on why Miles will stay at NDSU.  I am sure he will tell us.

      ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE!!!
Hey, just what I heard.  My boss happens to be best friends with Bruce Pearl who is somewhat connected to the coaching scene.  Also, my boss has a kid who's being recruited by D1 schools so he has his ear in the scene that way, too.  He stopped in my office yesterday and said "You used to play N Dak State, right?  Well, their coach can't get out of ND fast enough.  He's looking hard at the UNC Wilm job and is also looking to do an assistant coaching job at a place where his former player is now a head coach."  So, if I'm spreading rumors, I apologize.  My boss is usually a pretty good source for college basketball info.
You're boss is right about one thing - Glas can't get out of sioux land fast enough.

maybe that's what he was talking about. Everyone here thinks ND and SD are one big state.

Wouldn't you? Stay at a mediocre DII program where you get the cast-offs from the DI schools in the region or join a "hot" coach at a successful and improving mid-major as an assistant? Add in the uncertaintly of the move to DI and the "shaky" NCC. Seems like an easy call to me.
