They are a TEAM.

The first place I'd look is the cat dish.

Then I'd maybe have your cat checked for rabies and put down. Cats shouldn't be chewing digits off your body while you sleep.

Then, I'd go back to the hospital and get checked for some sort of sleeping disorder. You shouldn't be sleeping through a cat chewing off your digits.
Boy did I get that one wrong. Sorry !!!!! Rowdy gets rep points for helping me out here. I was suggesting that we all lighten up like the signature quote by Walrus.

Isn't it the coaches job to motivate? Nagy said himself that he can't get the players to actually believe they are better then they are playing
But what does NDSU do next in 2010 and 2011? The true test for NDSU, and whether they will have continued success in DI will not be known until Winkleman, Woodside and Nelson (recruited by Miles) are gone.

Where Nagy seems to have failed, recruiting true leaders. No one on this team has stepped up and taken on that role. If they had, they would not be losing Saturday. By ever indication SDSU had better talent, and as mentioned far more experience. Yet they came out flat and played with no passion. That isn't the first time this has happened in the last few years and it can not be attributed to altitude or the number of days on the road.

It was close to happening, Minnesota was between Woodside and some kid from California. They ended up giving the scholarship to the California kid(who didn't last a season) and offered Woodside a chance to walk on. There is no doubt Woodside wanted to be a Gopher.

I'm not exactly sure what other offers Woodside had, but I remember the story of Miles going to his house during recruiting and throwing his keys on the table and telling Woody that he wants him to drive the program into DI. That pretty much sealed the deal.

With that said, what NDSU did just goes to show that if you put together one great class things can change rapidly. Miles found a group of players that all bought into sticking together and trying to put NDSU on the map.

I have no idea what will happen next year, we have done a great job in retaining players but only a few have shown more than just flashes; however, Saul does have a nice class of recruits coming in. It's going to be interesting to say the least, the conference is going to be wide open.

People are confusing leadership and talent. We have leaders, Kai, Garrett, Clint. They lead with their play on the court. We lose close games because we dont have enough talent.

We shall see, but I'll have to respectfully disagree. Do they have the depth of talent right now to compete with ORU or NDSU this year for a title, no; not without a true physical big man. They do have the talent to develop as a team and finish somewhere in the middle of the conference race if they can push the pace (and make free throws). That would get them into the tournament. Once in anything can happen. What I witnessed yesterday against DU was a team that needed someone to step up and take over, change the momentum, and force DU into an up tempo game. It didn't happen.
