    Quick and dirty brief from the Register:
    Thursday marks the beginning of Summit League play when Centenary visits Frost Arena to take on the Jacks.

    Coming back from Mexico with a 3-4 record, the Jackrabbits are hoping that Thursday's game against Centenary will be the first win SDSU earned against the Gents.

      The road to Sioux Falls starts today as conference play gets underway in the Summit League.

      South Dakota State opens with home doubleheaders against Centenary and Oral Roberts today and Saturday, respectively, feeling more aware of what to expect having been through the league once and motivated by being eligible for the conference tournament for the first time.

      The 16-team event will be held March 7-10 at the Arena - the first of a two-year agreement - with the two winners advancing to the NCAA Division I championships.

      "I think non-conference is really good and meaningful, but there's nothing like playing conference games," Jackrabbits women's coach Aaron Johnston said. "It just bring a little more focus, a little more intensity and I'm excited to play a couple here this weekend."

        I can't make it up to Brookings tonight, but I am excited for tonight. Obviously I have more of a firm expectation about what we should see from the women, but I have high hopes for the men as well in tonight's contest.

        I'll be all over the radio. I hope Frost Arena will be hopping.

              Is the game starting soon, or is there more delay between the women's game and the men's?

                Anybody else having issues with video? I had video for women's game but nothing for men.
