We lost to a team that is better than us. Pretty much EVERY team we play this year will be better than us. Garrett younger brother may help a bit, but remember he is a non-scholarship player and plays a position we are at least decent at.

This is our present and future gentelmen under the current regime. We had better accept it.

The effort is there but the belief in themselves isn't there yet. I know these guys can do it. I wasn't sure at the start of the year but when they give the effort they did tonight its clear that they have the talent. Being undersized really hurts. We wear out and I know that is contributing to these lost leads late in games. I don't see the size issue going away so we have to overcome it. That is up to the coaches.

We have to keep supporting these guys and the coaches. That doesn't mean we can't be critical. We all want these guys to win.

We have DI players and Nagy can coach no matter what the level. We have to shoot better. No team is going to win shooting 30%. Lets get a win tomorrow.

Great post! Nagy is talking right now about losing by 2 points and only shooting 32% from the field and only 60% from the line.

Guys played their tails off...but we need to get over the hump.

He made enough mistakes tonight to last the whole season. It wasn't just the players tonight.

Did a great job on their good gaurd. Taylor ?.

He did not call a timeout. Nor did his assistants. Referee made the mistake. Those are the kind of things that have been happening to this team.

FTs alone cost us the game. 7-28 isn't going to win us games. Need more time in the gym working on FTs.

Concerned about not playing that many guys and the guys that are playing are playing alot. We expended a lot of energy tonight.

If we play with this kind of effort, we will win games. We HAVE the talent. Continue to shoot ourselves in the foot with little mistakes.

Out in the passing lanes more because we switched up our D.

Central Arkansas is going to more fresh as they didn't expend that much energy tonight.

My thoughts: Nagy sounded upbeat and really satisfied with the effort. He kept saying "we just need to get over the hump."

Well everyone is entitled to their opinion including facial expressions. Yes I am sure he is smiling, but its not the end of the world.

That is a reasonable question and you know I can't answer it. You have to ask Coach Nagy and his staff that one.

One thing we have all seen is if his big and any good from this state he is getting offers from a lot more big time programs than ours. To land him he is going to have to a tremendous amount of loyaty to SDSU

Word has gotten out. Nagy as a coach is a yeller and screamer and the vast majority of players dont want to play in that type of environment. The memory of our glory days are fast fading into the sunset and soon the HS kids wont even remember them. We are in big trouble when that happens.

Listened to the game on the radio while in the car. It sounded like the team played on of their best halves in the first half. Moved the ball really well, worked hard on defense. I can't remember how many times Steve said that their aggressiveness was paying off.

It seemed that depth was a problem tonight. Towards the end of the first half things started slipping. Came out in the 2nd and it took a little while to get going, but then the legs started feeling it. Poor free throw shooting was a big problem. I think the legs wearing out may have contributed to that also. If I recall, we missed a bunch at the end of the 1st half.

Main thing I took away from tonight compared to the previous games this year was that they played much more like a team, all on the same page, working towards a common goal. Didn't reach the goal, but they looked better.

My guess is the team feels absolutely sick about this loss because it was free throws that lost it for them. They should be able to improve that, and getting the extra guy at semester break can't hurt, even if we are deep at his position. One more guy in the rotation will keep everyone's legs a little fresher.

On to Central Arkansas.

I'm calling you out on this RB...where is the word out too? I/we know you do not like Nagy and want him gone, but just where is the word out too?

Screaming and yelling...this is college basketball on any level, you are on a scholarship for a free education, if your skin isnt tough enough for yelling and screaming good luck in the corporate world. My how times have changed, everyone wants to be coddled.
