Which shows that Mayville is no good and little else.

I can't wait till we get to play you in Basketball, we have a much better inside guy this year who will be the difference maker. It's not going to be pretty for the bunnies.

I for one am SOOO looking forward to the Bison's overinflated ego's getting popped again this year in Men's Basketball conference play, just like Football.

FYI, from a good source, Oakland's head coach is all sorts of pissed off that NDSU is getting as much pre-season pub as they are. Let's put it this way, he'll have his guys ready for the Bison.

It's been real cute the Bison have been able to talk smack in Men's Basketball the last couple of years. I have the feeling after this year they will come back to the pack. The ironic thing is they haven't really accomplished anything with all their talent other than be better than the Jacks and knock off a few top tier teams like Marquette and Wisconsin. I would put what the SDSU women have accomplished in the transition far ahead of the Bison Men.

No doubt after this year things will change we lose our big three. We will see how things work out this year but talent wise we have much better talent and the only missing piece was the big man in the middle after we lost Andre. We have a better player on the bench behind Mooreman but I think as the season progresses he's going to see much more playing time. Next year is next year but the Bison faithful will enjoy this mens team as they should. Hell you bunny fans would be squaking out your backsides if you had a mens team as good as ours. Yes your womens team has done much better in the transition but that too will change. Nobody stays on top forever. Give our new womens coach a year or two and I think she will do just fine. She inherited a program where the cupboard was pretty bare.

I know this is not a smack thread, but need I remind you the mighty Bison were 16-13 overall last year and 10-8 in the Conference. Much better than the Jacks but not exactly a dynasty! Will see what they do this year and if they stay healthy they should finish at or near the top of the Summit. I'm not going to squawk about our DII success in Basketball like the Bison do in Football, but we have a pretty good history and trust we will get back on track soon!

Just as the Bison will in Womens Basketball and football. Womens Basketball is already on track with some very promising signings and Football will be when our coaches realize Nick "the Pick" Mertens can't be our starting QB but that's for another thread.
PS. The nickname for Mertens came from a bunny fan and it's a perfect name for him.

Hell you bunny fans would be squaking out your backsides if you had a mens team as good as ours.

I'd be squawking that's for sure, just not out my backside. Old Mill Light takes care of that part.

Transition has been nothing short of hell for the men's program and better they anyone could have guessed for the women's program. Would I trade places with the Bison right now, NO WAY.

Mods...you might PM lakesbison and tell him/her (probably the latter) that smack belongs on the smack section, not jumping in on our game threads. You know if the poster is lakesbison that it is going to be pure smack every time.
