I don't think there's a single game on the schedule which isn't "winnable," given a reasonable improvement in the Jacks' offensive efficiency and some defensive improvement, including tightening up on opponent's 3-pointers.

Of course, some will be more "winnable" than others.

Any oppurtunities for any bus trips this year?

What about for Minnesota(on a Thursday though), Northern Iowa(day after Thanksgiving), or North Dakota State.

Would anyone be interested in going to one of these games on a charter bus?

I dunno, but I don't think we will have to worry about anything. I can't wait to watch Garrett play, in conversations I've had this guy he impresses me. This guy will have a good shot at producing big time. And I think we've learned a lot since last year. This team might be more athletic than the teams of the last two years.

We have a couple of interesting experiences with SMSU over the past couple years. Two seasons ago, they beat us at Frost 93-55 in the Nagy-era edition of The Game That Shall Not Be Mentioned Again. That was the only time that the Mustangs have ever defeated SDSU. Last season, we narrowly defeated them at Frost 70-66 in a game that will be more remember for the debut of the football players taking the court.

We should never speak of that game two years ago, that hurt and hurt bad. UW-L this year seems tame as compared to the way I felt after that wipe-out. Every time I here the word Mustang I think of that debacle.

Yes, we have the Basketball Game Which Shall Not Be Spoken Of, and we now have the Football GWSNBSO.

Perhaps we should just say GWSNBSO from here on out (pronounced gee-wizzen-bee-so).
