  • '06-'07 schedule

I was talking to Ozark Jack tonight about many things SDSU and one topic was next year's Men's schedule.  So I thought I would put in the games we know for sure.

    Central Florida - Home
    IPFW - Home and Away
    Minnesota - Away
    Montana State - Home
New Jersey Tech - Home and Away
    NDSU - Home and Away
Texas Pan-Am - Home and Away
    Utah State - Home
Utah Valley State - Home and Away

I am sure there are more but I couldn't think of any.  Please feel free to add to this list.

    Re: '06-'07 schedule

Just in case you guys were interested here is what I have been able to piece togather for NDSU's schedule next season.

    Home games:
    Kansas State
    Idaho
    Furman
    Oakland(Mich)
    Wisconsin Green Bay
    SDSU
    IPFW
    Utah Valley State
    UT Pan America
    NJ Tech
    UMARY
    Dakota State
    Mayville St(ex)

    Road
    Marquette Tourney
    Colorado State
    SDSU
    IPFW
    Utah Valley State
    UT Pan America
    NJ Tech
    Iowa State
    Texas Tech

NDSU was also in talks with a Big Ten team but the Texas Tech game may have changed things since I am not sure if Miles wants to add another Major conference team to the schedule. I really like the schedule so far and the only thing it is missing is another game with the Gophers. This schedule is definately a major upgrade from last years.

Yes a very nice schedule for the Bison including 3 teams from the Big 12. Plus Bobby Huggins leading K State into Fargo should be a great attraction

Thanks, FargoBison. Looks like a nice way to start the season with teams from seven different conferences and an independent participating, or will we know that we are in the same conference as one of the other teams by then? Time will tell.

No exhibition here. Seems like a balanced field outside of Ohio St. with some good mid-major teams and some of the most recent additions to DI.

Cool, thanks for posting this! I can't wait to see the brackets. If they run it like last year's classic we will get three games out of the deal.  8-)

                      Re: '06-'07 schedule

Our schedule is actually almost full for the upcoming season; we just need to get dates attached to several of the games. Getting games scheduled from Nov. to early Jan. has not been difficult; the challenge has been getting home games and games (in general) on the calendar for the last half of the season when everyone is in the midst of conference play. Hence, our scheduling alliance for this upcoming season to help alleviate the problem.

Indiana's reigning Mr. Basketball Greg Oden of Indianapolis Lawrence North High School has suffered a torn ligament in his right wrist and could miss up to six months if his rehabilitation from surgery takes as long as expected.

The Ohio State-bound seven-footer, Oden -- the two-time consensus national player of the year -- could return to the Buckeyes lineup Dec. 16.
