    Re: Nate Wolters

Both the Wolters and the coaches decided simultaneously to part ways. Their emails passed in cyberspace thus making both sides of the story "cold hard facts"

        Re: Nate Wolters

I have resisted posting on this thread, because it doesn't make a darn bit of difference why this particular ball player isn't coming to SDSU. So I'm posting here to ask the mods to put a lock on this page, so it won't keep coming up on my "unread" list. Guess I can just ignore it, but have just kept peeking in case something earthshaking was new...looks the same to me all the way through.

What does it matter..... My guess is it went something like this..... The coaches said the only offer you are going to get from us is early.... The kid probably said something like I don't want to sign early I want to see how your program is in the spring and how my recruitment is in the spring...... Who said no to who? Does it matter? Nagy and Co. don't want to be held hostage by him and he doesn't want to hold himself hostage by SDSU..... He won't be going to SDSU.... Does it really matter why?

Nate Wolters is pretty good for a kid that SDSU was recruiting against a D2 school.

Washington coach compared Wolters to two all-star NBA point guards.

This topic just goes to show you that just because someone on a message board continues to assert the same argument, doesn't mean they know anything.

This thread also serves as an example of how message board posters ran a risk -- not understood at the time -- of potentially screwing up the recruiting of a fellow who, in my opinion, is destined to go in the record books as one of the top two or three players in SDSU history -- if not the best player in SDSU history. Thank goodness the right people don't put much stock in a message board!

About we allow this one to just sink below the surface again!

As you may know Cadsev is the Adminstator /Coach of the Dakota Schoolers. He does not post here much any more since some of us have grown up in drawing wierd conclusions. Tattoo has changed his handle to something else. I do not recall to what.
