    Eight true freshmen and two returning starters for youthful Bulldogs

    With more new faces than returning players from the 2005-06 squad, Alabama A&M head coach Vann Pettaway may need to hand out name tags to the 2006-07 team for the first week of practice in October. The Bulldogs will be one of the youngest teams in the nation with eight true freshmen on the 15-man roster.



    Even with the newness, Pettaway is excited about the possibilities of his Bulldogs. "We may go through some growing pains early," he said. "But the thing I like is this a group of young men that doesn't mind working hard. We will have to work very hard to build our confidence throughout the season." . . . (read more)

              Nagy said he was disappointed that that our 3 "big" men had only 3 fouls between them in yesterdays game. He said if you get beat by that much the three should have fouled out trying to stop them from doing what they were doing.

                        I would like to see Cam in to hit some 3's and bust the zone. It seems to be giving us fits right now.

                          27-23 Jacks down. Kleinjan has 10, Kai has 4, Cadwell 1. Kleinjan and Cadwell have played entire game.
