Tomorrow at 1 central the guys take on the Denver Pioneers.  The link takes you to their home page.  The coaching staff is looking at this as a game that we should win.  It looks like DeShawn Walker and Tyler Bullock are the main scoring threats.  Deshawn was here last year and Bullock is a true frosh from Lincoln.  They don't rebound much it looks like 31.4 a game compared to 38.6 given up a game.  They have turned it over 18.7 times a game.  They are a 75% FT shooting team and hit about 40% of the shots from the field, hitting about 36% from 3.  Their main rebounders are Deshawn, Antonio Porch, and Joesph Jackson who average about 17.5 rebounds a game combined.

I thought one of Nagy's pre-game comments was interesting--he said that they probably wouldn't schedule any more tournaments at the beginning of the season, and use that extra week to work on things like their offense against zones and other things, and try to schedule tournaments later on in the season.

Nice to hear he's got (or is developing) a hook. That's nearly an impossible shot to stop if you can shoot it.

Off-topic here, but how can the Vikings offense be soooo terrible. Its sad to have as good a defense as they do and the offense just does absolutely nothing to help them. Glad I got the Jacks games to follow this afternoon.

Cadwell with 9 points, Williams with 8, Bassett and Engen with 4 each. Nice to see some front-line scoring. Loney, Yackley, and Bassett all have 2 fouls.
