    Re: Butler

Refs are very enamored of the traveling call today . . . Jacks have had several, Butler just has one.

Our shot selection is HORRIBLE. Butler defense has something to do with that.

Not sure what the rebounding stats look like, but I'm sure its not in our favor. 15-6 Butler at the 3rd media timeout of the half.

                  Re: Butler

A top 25 team doesn't lose to a team with a rpi >300 especially on their home court. Thats even if their best player is out. Probably why they had him get his wisdom teeth pulled before this game.

Butler has more talent and more experience at almost every position, even on their bench. Our guys will play their hardest but even at that it probably won't be enough. You never say never but this is one case where you can say almost no chance.

I hope it doesn't get as bad as Kent St.

Wow. We are enarmored with the 3. Let's get aggressive and take it down to the hole. 26-9 Bulter dominating the 3 point range.

Hard to penetrate when the guy guarding you is faster, stronger, and just plain better than you. The thought is a good one but to execute it is on a whole different level entirely. Tough is all I can say about what will face these guys the rest of the way.

Callahan shows that he can do it. Will he get some help? I'm looking for Kai to step-up. Maybe Cadwell can shake free and help us get to 50 points.

Butler's probably a bit more talented and a lot more confident and experienced than we are right now. They win with defense and timely shooting. That's the template for our future success, too. Hopefully the guys are watching and learning.

We're also just simply getting pushed around inside, especially when we're on offense. They're collapsing two and three guys inside and just manhandling our frontline players. That's where we aren't matching up at all.
