Hope Bassett isn't hurt too severely. We have no bulk to spare. The Jacks only made four shots the first half? Yikes.

I know this will sound kind of weird, but I'm still seeing progress. Yes, we're completely outmanned on the front line. Yes, we're utterly unable to manufacture shots against a superior defensive team like Butler.

But turnovers are way down compared to earlier this season. Our defense is not terrible vs. Butler. Giving up 33 points in a half is not a bad defensive performance, especially when you're shooting so very poorly.

At the first media time out of the 2nd half it is 39-14 Butler. Our shooting just sucks. Side note there is a good article in the register today about President Chicoine

nuts... just finished up some chores hoping to only catch the game a few min late. Darn time difference again.

While you hope for a close score, I'm not totally dissapointed with the halftime score. Could still get ugly...

Jacks look more aggressive on offense this half. Isn't doing them a lot of good on the scoreboard but it's nice to see anyway.
